What Causes Late Period With History Of Ovarian Cysts?
Have a history of ovarian cysts. Most have been resolved when the cysts have ruptured (painful ). Recently, my period was 3 weeks late. My stomach swelled and had bad bloating - 5 lbs. today I woke up and had a brownish/orange discharge and now it seems my period has started. The discharge was so odd though. Could this have been the discharge from a ruptured ovarian cyst?

yes it can be possible. ovarian cyst can cause irregular cycles and also irregular bleeds. keep a track of your cycles and consult your docter for futher evaluation
