What Causes Late Period Inspite Of Being On Birth Control Pills?
I recently started birth control for the first time I m awhile. I was advised to start on a Sunday. My period was due this past Saturday Oct 18th. But it never started. I started my birth control on the 19th as planned. I did have unprotected sex close to my predicted ovation. Now I am 3 days late for my period. Is that very common of you start the pill even when you are a day late?

One of the most common side effects of the birth control itself is an irregularity in the menstrual cycle which is what you are experiencing. I would still recommend a home pregnancy test just to make sure we accurately rule out pregnancy as well.
