What Causes Lack Of Periods Despite Taking A Course Of Regestrone After Withdrawal Bleeding From IPill?

Hi ma am the problem is i did a unprotected intercouse with my husband on 10th june and after that i took a ipill and got a withdrawal bleeding after 7 days and after few days i did a beta hcg test it came 1.20 and my gynocologist suggested to take regestrone tablet for 5days and now today is the 7th day still not getting any period

Hi,

You had withdrawal bleeding after taking I pills. These pills had already postponed your periods by minimum 8 days. After you took Regestrone for 5 days which would further cause hormonal imbalance and postpone your period still mote. All of this has caused hormonal imbalance and your period may get delayed by 3- 4 weeks. Please wait till then for withdrawal bleeding (due to Regestrone). If no periods till then, consult your gynecologist for examination and possible pregnancy in these days. In case there is pregnancy, you have to terminate it.
