What Causes Lack Of Bleeding Despite Taking Misoprostol?

Hi i am over 20 weeks pregnant and took 3 doses of 4 200mcg of misoprostol. I have had to pee alot more but no blood. I took the last does yesturday morning at 6 am . I have had more pain and the baby barley moves but is in one place he stays in my upper stomach and i can feel my stomach not being as hard as it was

Hello.

I assume you want to terminate the pregnancy since you have taken Misoprostol. At 20 weeks, the pregnancy is far too advanced to get terminated by misoprostol. It is generally used at less than 7 weeks, 9 weeks at the most.

I suggest you consult your gynaecologist, as at 20 weeks termination requires intervention like induction and evacuation or surgical intervention, basically like a mini-delivery. You must also be aware that in many countries there are legal limitations for termination of pregnancies at more than 20 weeks as it has serious health implications for the mother.
