What Causes Knots On Back Of The Head Of Baby?

Yes my 3 year old son has 2 little knots on the back of his head .... I am worried about this ..... its not like he got his head hit on something or anything its totally different is by the base line of his skull and one is about an inch away from the other one ....

Hi,

Most likely these are enlarged sub-occipital lymph nodes. If less than 1cm in diameter and non tender, we need not worry. Just show to your pediatrician when you visit next time for some other reasons, so that we can ascertain the cause after a direct examination.
