What Causes Knot In Scrotum, Head And Under Arm In Children?
I was wondering about a purple pea sized knot on my 5 year olds scrotum. It is swollen and he has recently had 2 knots on his head and one under his arm. They are not painful from what he is saying. I tried to call his ped. but she is out of the office until 6/21. I am very worried about the scrotal knot since it is starting to swell. Any advice would be helpful.

Usually these indicates superficial infection of the skin or its glands. If there is no fever, surrounding edema or tenderness, no reason to worry. Just wait for the appointment.
