What Causes Knee Pain That Occur For Short-term While Walking?
There s a pain in my knee that I ve had for years. It only lasts a second or two when I m walking. I find the pain goes away if I change the way I walk. My knee never swells up and the pain is starting to change. I can walk up and down stairs with no pain at all, only on flat ground does it hurt. Is this something surgery could fix?

Get evaluated firstly doing an MRI or an X-ray. Use anti-inflammatory drugs such Advil or Naproxen for pain. Use cortico-steroid injections to help pain as first option before surgery.
