What Causes Joints Pain Long After A Hip Replacement Surgery?
Hell Dr. Rynne, I am a 47 year old woman who has a increasingly worsening joint pain in my feet, knees, hips, shoulders and back. The pain is equal on both sides. I had hip replacement surgery 3 years ago on my left hip. I was admitted to the hospital for a week in August for anemia. I also have had painful boils appear under my right underarm. I had 1 to begin and treated with rubbing alcohol but they have spread and I have 7 at this time.
As first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
