What Causes Jaw Ache While Suffering From An Ear Infection?

I went to the ENT today I have a lot of ear issues. One ear drum is missing and the other is retracted with fluid behind it. She pushed on the lymph nodes in my neck and one of them was swollen, now my ear and jaw hurt so bad I can barely open my mouth without pain. Im guessing I have ear infections without pain but her pressing on that node released some infected lymph fluid and also irritated my ear.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Dear. Jaw ache is due to ear infection and enlarged lymph nodes. Once the infection comes down jaw pain will definitely come down. You need to take a course of antibiotics. Tab Amoxclav 625mg three times a day for 5 days and ciplox ear drops 2 drops thrice daily will work excellently for controlling the infection. Along with this pain killers like paracetamol or brufen can be used.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
