What Causes Itchy Spots In The Vagina During Pregnancy?

Hello While pregnant with my first child 4 years ago, a small spot on my outer labia was constantly itchy and over the years it s spread and now almost the whole outer labia is itchy. Also every once and a while the skin will get very dry and peel, so just wondering what the cause of this could be Thank you

Because there's an increase in vaginal discharge during pregnancy, it can cause irritation of the skin of the vulva.” So it could just be because of your discharge, or it could be a sign of an infection like a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, herpes or HPV. It's better to apply antifungal ointment like Candid B.
