What Causes Itchy Sores On Scalp?

I have been getting scalp sores that itch, I scratc them and sometimes they bleed. Where the sores are big there s hair loss and I find it s spreading. I have had sores in the past but maybe a few and they go away however this time they re getting worse. What can I do to stop this?

Hi,

This is kind of of fungal infection. I suggest to get this treated as early as possible since, in the area where you are losing hair- the hair usually wont grow back again. Microscopic examination of small fragment of that infected area would identify the specific organism causing the infection and then appropriate treatment can be started.
