Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I stayed in a hotel from last sunday night through friday morning. On Monday afternoon, my hands started itching and burned like they were too dry. On Tuesday I had a few red spots on my body but they were small. On Wednesday when I woke up, every small red spot that I had the day before were swollen. Throughout the day the red swelled spots started turning a dark purple color and i realized that my blood was surfacing to the top of the bumps. Any idea of what this could be? I searched the bed sheets and didn t see any bugs. Today will be 7 days since I first stayed in the hotel and i now have several spots on my arms and a large one on the side of my neck.
Hello Dear. You might be having some allergic rashes. Allergy can develop due to several reasons- some foods like egg, fish, pollen grains, animal hair, nylon, terylene clothes. Just try to find out what you are allergic to & avoid it. Try home remedies. Apply coconut oil daily three times a day for one week. If you are not better consult a dermatologist. It can be fungal infection or eczema. with regards- Dr Sanjay Kini
