What Causes Itchy Red Bumps On The Hands And Feet?

Itching hands, arms, feet, scalp and back of scalp causing red pumps. My stomach has indigestion or my throat feels tightened for example when I swallow a pill. I feel like it is still there hours later. Any ideas? I went to doctor she said it is allergic dermatitis vs atopic dermatitis. Sometimes I get a cramp under right rib cage. Any ideas?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history of allergic dermatitis, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like Calamine lotion on affected region.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetrizine.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
