What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Forearm With Body Ache And Sore Throat?

I had fever on Friday and Saturday. I also had a rash on my right hand at the elbow joint. It started off as a slight rash but is now itchy and red and seems to be spreading all over my forearm. The fever went away but the rash continues to get worse. I had severe body ache and sore throat.

Your presenting complaints are of some acute viral syndrome in which you have rashes, fever, myalgia, sore throat. Viral infections wean off after a certain period, let's say 7 to 8 days gradually on their own if it's mild one but you can take medicines for symptomatic relief.

In case of severe infections, it might need hospitalization and hospital care. I will advise you to take medicines for symptomatic relief for few days and keep yourself hydrated. If you don't get relief in few days and your symptoms are exaggerated even a bit, consult your health care provider for further investigations and management according to your presentation.
