What Causes Itchy Rash And Red Bumps All Over The Body?

I get a itchy rash that starts with red bumps then becomes long welts in a cross hatch pattern. It always starts late at night and is always in the same places. Very recently it has become worse and is in more places. I haven t eaten, drank or done anything differently in years. It used to happen once in a while but now occurs often and has begun to be nearly covering my entire body

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be allergic / fungal, the allergen can be something you use cosmetically before sleeping, the linen or blankets used in bed, or bed bugs, ants or mosquito biting. You need changing your bed linen, avoid synthetics / look for cleaning your bed, carpet, draw sheets and free them of pests. Take tb, cetirizine one at bed time after food. Apply caladryl lotion Mixed with Steroid skin ointment on the body. If there is no relief, consult a skin specialist for expert advise.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
