What Causes Itchy Raised Bump On Arm, Base Of Throat And Neck?

I ve had a very itchy raised bump (like a welt/hive) first on my lower arm, then on my upper arm and now at the base of my throat. The three appeared one after the other with several days in between appearances. They all started as small bumps which got increasingly bigger and itchier and then went away after a couple days. The one on my neck just appeared a day ago. Is something crawling up my skin??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The very itchy raised bump showed on your lower arm, then, on your upper arm and now at the base of your throat are indicating possible allergic reaction to anything you consumed recently or any insect bite. Take oral antihistamine you find over the counter. If no betterment, should see your caring doctor as might require prescription medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
