What Causes Itchy Patch And Bruise On Thigh With Normal CBC?
I was at a pumpkin patch yesterday and my r thigh started itching badly. The next morning I woke up with a huge welt and bruise and could not stop itching. I did GI to the doctors and had a CBC done, which was normal. They gave me a shot of steroids and histamine pill. The scratch I g claimed down, but I scaryched my calf and bruising started to develop. Please help concern ed something else is occurring.
ello, Thanks for the query, You might have developed acute urticaria. It is an allergic condition. Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria. You need to find out the cause. Treatment can be with oral anti histamines. Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
