What Causes Itchy, Painful, Peeling Skin On Upper Thigh?

Hi so I noticed that in my upper thighs my skin is peeling. It doesn t hurt it itche s sometimes. Also when I had sex with my husband it was a little painful. I have no unusual discharge no foul odor. This started to occur right after I finished my period. Any suggestions? I ve tried cortisone cream and it doesn t work. I was also taking antibiotics for a cold. I Would really appreciate any input as this is very uncomfortable thank you.

Hello,
You might have developed fungal infection.
The area of groin around labia is very moist and is prone to develop these infections.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe.
These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection.
Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
