What Causes Itchy Lumps On The Lower Part Of The Body?

The skin from my waist down has many bumps. They itch. various sizes but most are no bigger than a pencil eraser. some are tiny. Like sand. mostly on the feet and ankles. No discoloration. The problem started 7/11/2016. I don t think it is fleas. I have dogs. We go for walks in the woods often so maybe it is poison ivy/sumac, etc.? I took a hot bath with epsom salts this morning @ 08:00. Felt good. Still itched afterwards. Put calamine lotion on this afternoon @ 16:00. Helped a little. Still itch a little. I am hypertensive. I take Hydroclorothyazide tabs, 25mg, Amlodipine / Benazepril caps,10/40 mg. Pot Chlor Er tabs 10Meq and Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray 50 mcg all once a day. For the last six years. I take vitamins too. Biotin, 5000 mcg, Berberine Gluco Defense, 500 mg. Preservision AREDS 2 formula,500 mg, Milk thistle, 240mg. and odorless garlic,75mg. I take all once a day after I take my meds. The AREDS 2 and Berberine I take 2 and three times a day. I am 5 9 tall, 200 lbs. white Male, age 56. That s about it for now. Thank you for your help in this matter. Regards, Mark R. Boschian

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to allergic reactions.

For that you can take tablet loratidine.

Do you have fever, allergies to food or medication?

Do antiseptic dressing.

In case of not getting relief you may require Dermatologist opinion for detailed examination.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Keep your self hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale
