What Causes Itchy Cuticles And Peeling Finger Nails?

My fingernails lifted away from my skin in late February and my doctors can t see to figure out why. I ve been to every possible doctor (dermatologist, vascular surgeon, rheumatologist, neurologist) and no one has an answer. Now, my nails are starting to grow back (seminormally), but my cuticles are itchy and have open cuts on them and my hands are very achy. can you help me figure out what this might be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having chronic nail bed infection following fungal infection of nail.
Clean the part and apply antibiotic cream and anti-fungal lotion.
go for one course of antifungal medicine like Flucanozole 150 mg once a week for 4 weeks.
If there is secondary bacterial infection is there, go for one antibiotic medicine course as well.
Ok and take care.
