What Causes Itchy Cluster Of Blisters On Arm?

My 7 year old granddaughter had a small cluster of blisters on her arm that itched. Itching cream helped. now there is one on her forehead and one more on her arm. Any ideas? She has not been around poison oak that we know of but this seems different. Not spreading like that.

Hi.
As per your case history your daughter is having papular urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
