What Causes Itchy Bumps On Arm And Back?

I Started scratching at my arm, then belly, and finally my back. Now the bumps are just there, but often Itch..Although I Try Not to scratch them, but if I scratch on my arm where there aren t bumps they suddenly appear. I think they might be flea bites, but I m not too sure.

Hi,
As per your description, it is might be skin rashes or urticaria (hives)or a boil or cellulitis.

You must take antibiotics ( cephalosporins or quinolones preferred) with analgesics and anti-inflammatory with antihistaminics like certizine to get rid off that.

You can go to skin specialist for detailed history of yours and inspection of bumps or rashes to have a clear diagnosis.

You might require topical corticosteroid like beclomethasone, clobetasol or mometasome with antifungal cream like miconazole or itraconazole with antihistamines orally to reduce itching.

Some time oral antifungal once dosage with prednisolone are also effective.

You wash them with savlon and water.

Only 3 days course of antibiotics Would be sufficient.

Consult dermatologist for further advise.
