What Causes Itchy Bumps All Over The Body?

I have an itch all over body and its small bumps under skin. It first began about a year ago, with all my lymph swollen for about 2-3 days, its on my head, face chest and down to my pubic area and less noticeable in other areas. My derma doc cant seem to figure it out, but I suspect some kind of viral or bilirium side effects. I m itching all day everyday and scratch til I bleed. Help!

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Itchy bumps may be due to urticaria or folliculitis or mastocytosis or tropical eosinophilia or acne etc.

It may be generalized pruritus secondary to drugs, systemic diseases like hyperbilirubinemia or hepatitis or renal failure etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done complete blood picture, eosinophil count, blood sugar and bilirubin level.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
