What Causes Itchy Body While On Amoxicillin In A Heart Patient?

I am currently taking 500 mg of amoxicillin 3 times a day for the rest of my life. I am a 58 yr old male which had endocarditis from enterococos bacteria then while in the hospital treating that i contracted MRSA and 6 weeks later had a relapse and this time i had a aorta heart valve replacement. Now i am itching all over and am wondering if it is the amoxicillin ?
