What Causes Itchy Blisters On The Arms?

Yes, thank you. This is the 3rd time in maybe a month and a half that in the same area on my left arm I get a few blister looking spots. They itch, break open, dry up, clear up and reappear again. There is a slight swelling around the area but not where the blisters occur. Any idea what this may be? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the rash is recurring in the exact same spot repeatedly, it is possible that the rash may be herpetic in origin.

This type of rash tends to recur in the same area and forms small water filled lesions that then open and heal.
The surrounding swelling would be due to inflammation of the skin from the infection.

You should consider visiting your doctor at the time of the rash so that the rash can be identified.

I hope this helps
