What Causes Itchy And Red Scrotum After Sexual Activity?

Hi doctor I had oral sex with a girl and started experiencing itchy very red scrotum. Glans of penis had many red dots all over looking like male thrush. I went to the doctor about a week after and said it was male thrush and erythrasma. He prescribed me clomitrizole and oral medication and it took a while but a month later the itching subsided. Now on the shaft of my penis 4 to 5 weeks after this I have small pink pimples on the shaft of penis any Idea what this could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The most common causes of itchy testicles are irritation and fungal infections from poor hygiene or excess sweating. Regularly bathing is necessary. I also suggest using an antifungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
