What Causes Itching Sensation On Body While On Zyrtec And Singulair?

Currently take Zyrtec, Singulair & Astepro nasal spray every night at bedtime ( for many years). Have recently developed itching on various body parts. Was wondering if I can take Benadryl, possibly in the morning, to relieve some of the itching. Have no idea why itching has developed, but it feels the same way I feel when I need to stop taking Zyrtec for different medical testing.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the medications that you are taking are all anti allergics like Zyrtec [Cetrizine], Singulair [Montelukast sodium] and Astepro [Azelastine] and in case if you are still developing itching it seems to be due to allergic reaction only and it can be due to recurring or persistent exposure to some allergen..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and after a proper allergic testing done you can be advised to take other anti allergics like Benadryl and even steroids..
Once the cause of allergic reaction is ruled out, preventing exposure to the allergen can help in preventing allergic symptoms..
Injectable anti allergics and steroids can also be advised..
Along with it an Immunotherapy can be instilled to reduce the severity and duration of allergic symptoms..
