I have been experiencing a lot of itching in the last 2 weeks. Stomach area, chest and legs also. Plus some small moles on my stomach that are sore, possibly from all the itching. Topical products have not helped. 2 days ago I discontinued eating a snack that was kind of spicy, thinking that might be a factor, but no relief yet. Otherwise nothing is different than my normal.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history of itching all over body, my treatment advice is:
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
