What Causes Itching On The Scalp?

i am extremely worried. i dont have insurance and for the last few days ive had an itchy scalp with small sores like pimples. it started with a big zit like pimple on my left face side. I popped it and later that evening it grew bigger but now had pus like fluid oozing. The next day i noticed another one right next to it. Is this cancerous?

Hi,

As per your history it seems to me that you are having scalp infection. It is not cancerous lesion because cancer ulcers does not grow so fast and burst with pus oozing. You need to wash your scalp daily and avoid gel and oil for some time.

You also get an fasting blood sugar done because sometimes diabetes type 2 presents like same fashion. If you would have my patient I would have recommended you antibiotics like Augmentin twice daily for five days to treat your infection.
