What Causes Itching On The Right Foot?

I took off my sock on my right foot and my toes started itching as soon as it hit the air, I rubbed a little bit and it died down, but it left my little toe and 4th toe extremely itchy, and they are swollen. Cortisone cream helps but it s still really itchy.

Hello,

It could be eczema. As first-line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief.

If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. you can take antihistamines like Cetrezine for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
