What Causes Itching Inside The Chest?

Hello I ve been having an itchy feeling inside my chest and was wondering what could be causing this? I have been prescribed an inhaler, but I have also been having trouble fighting off chest congestion, coughing, and wheezing for 3 months now. Also I ve been getting this weird itchy feeling about a couple inches under my collarbone, should I see a doctor for that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You might be having some allergy as well. You can try cetirizine at night for a few days to see if it will help with the itchiness. If you notice no improvement with it or if you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
