What Causes Itching In The Groin Area?

I have an itchiness seemingly under my skin, primarily in the groin area. I first noticed it a few weeks ago. It has appeared in areas other than my groin area, but not nearly as frequently. I have these symptoms quite often. I also, from time to time, feel a piercing pain run through various parts of my body from time to time. This has been occurring over the last couple of months, at least, as well. I would be very pleased to get any guidance you can offer about these two symptons.

Hi, I think you can be having some fungal infection. Consult a dermatologist for proper examination. You may need some antifungal ointments for local applications. You may require antifungal drugs orally also. Get your blood sugar levels checked, fasting and post prandial. For your Pain, it can be a neuropathic pain. Take some vitamin B 12 supplements.
