General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the itching burning spot on left side of the head indicates possible issue with underlying fungal, bacterial or viral infection most likely. My guidelines at present:
- Keep the part clean with antiseptic liquid or soap
- Local application of Betnovate N cream
- Prescription of antibiotic (as cephalexin), anti-fungal (as fluconazole), anti-histamine (as cetirizine)

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
