What Causes Itching Between Two Fingers, Which Feels Good Under Hot Water?
I probably need a dermatologist for what's bothering me, nonetheless, here we go . . .I've got an itch that's typically between my index and middle finger very near the web space. The itch is driving me crazy! Also, when I wash my hands and use very warm water (VERY warm water!), the affected area feels very, very good, which I find a bit odd. Finally, there are small blisters (approx 2mm in diameter) that weep. Any ideas?

1. As far as history and symptoms are concerned it probably looks to be a case of SCABIES[webs of finger] but consult a Dermatologist to exclude other disease which can cause the same like: insect bite, ringworm, xerosis [dry skin], pediculosis corporis, papular urticaria, eczematous disease, dermatitis herpeteformis.
2. Regarding management initially the treatment of secondary infection is done by antibiotics.
- patient should cut his nails short and your daily used articles [towel, pillow, bed-sheet] should be kept separate
- Antihistaminics may be necessary to control itching
- After bath with soap and warm water, apply the specific medicine [scoboma lotion containing gamma benzene hexachloride + cetrimide] from 'neck to foot' [below neck], for 3 consecutive days.During the bath the patient must scrub his body and then allow the skin to dry before the application of medicine. After each day's bath fresh garments should be used
