What Causes Itching All Over Body, Minor Swelling Of Hands And Feet?
since friday i have had an all over body itch. it s so bad i can t sleep. my palms itch. my scalp, my whole body. minor swelling of the hands and feet. went to the doc today and they prescribed hydroxyzine. knocked me out cold all day! I m itchy again and don t want to take that med again. shouldn t a blood test be done?

hi, welcome to HCM,
you are suffering from scabies, as minor swelling in hand and feet due to itching.
apply permethrin 5% all over the body. keep it for 8 hrs then take bath. wash (disinfect) you clothing & beddings.
from next day apply calamine lotion twice daily.
continue taking hydroxyzine 25 mg daily at night.
