What Causes Ischemic Heart Disease?

Upon discharge out of USMC. I was found in my medical discharge of having a heart murmur and arrhythmia. I am now suffering from Ischemic Heart disease with a defib/pacemaker in chest. Also, I had a very active history while in the military of having tonsillitis and strep throat. Can you associate any of this with my a probability of getting Hear disease? I am presently trying to get a VA disability for heart disease and show it was caused while in the Military. Please Help! Thank You So Much!
