Hi,

Irregular periods are a common side effect of emergency contraception pills like Unwanted 72. These pills contain high doses of synthetic hormones that can disrupt the normal hormonal balance in the body and cause changes in menstrual cycles. It is not uncommon for women to experience early or late periods or changes in the duration and intensity of bleeding after taking emergency contraception pills.

In your case, the irregularity in your menstrual cycle is likely due to the hormonal changes caused by Unwanted 72. Your period may return to its regular schedule in the coming months. However, if you continue to experience irregular periods or any other unusual symptoms, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying health issues.

As for the pregnancy test, if you took it on 22 April and it came out negative, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. However, if you still have concerns, you can take another test after a few days or consult with a healthcare professional for further advice.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
