What Causes Irregular Menstruation In A Breast Feeding Mother?

Hi my aged 30yrs. Having 2 yrs kid. Once I stopped feeding my baby at one yr I got irregular periods. So I had regesterone 5mg tablet for last 2 cycles. This time also i not get my periods still. So I had again regesterone 5mg. But this time after stopping it was 6days got over. Stil I not get my periods checked pregnancy Urine test negative only. U don t want again baby now too. What to do? Kindly advise me.

May be it is an unovulatory cycle and yellow body doesnt produce enough progresrerone hormone for cycle to come. You have to wait some more days. Since you have iregular periods for long time this is normal. If you want regular periods and dont want kids better take an estroprogrestative contraception.
