General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi mam,
Alteration of quality of menstrual cycles is common after child birth and by what you mentioned, there is a chance of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, a common infection of inner organs, easily treatable. Please consult a doctor, get examined and all that would suffice is course of antibiotics, if it's not a pregnancy. Be alert if the discharge is foul smelling. Duphaston can alter the cycle in few subjects, so kindly prefer a non hormonal contraceptive method.
Hope this was helpful.
