Hi..i m a 41 yrs old female..my perioed has been messed up for 2 years now..it stays for 3 weeks and stops for a week then comes again. It starts very lightly like brown spotting for like ten days then gets heavier. It gets really heavy for a couple of days that i am anemic now. This month it came flowing hard instantly from day one and the blood is bright red and watery. I havebeen waiting for the Gyno app for over a month. Is this alarming?
Also you are nearing your menopausal age group irregular cycle should be concerned. I advice you to, - do Transvaginal USG & endometrial biopsy at the earliest for further evaluation
