What Causes Irregular Menstrual Bleeding And Yellowish Blister On The Vaginal Opening?
I am a woman with a need to diagnose what I have. a day after my period i realize i had brief vaginal blood coming out and only lasting a few hours. Then my vagina became sort of itchy and soar and burned when i peed. thats when i sort of thought this was a UTI but i wasnt having the symptom of a constant need to pee. I took a quick picture of down there and saw yellowish type blistering on the left lip of my vagina. Im really worried. Please help. I am sexually active but my boyfriend of 6 months does not have an std because he has only been with me.
Any change in vaginal secretions or presence of genital lesions warrants a visit with the doctor and probably some tests. Sexually transmitted infections are the first to rule out.
It is recommended to have a gynecological exam and probably take samples for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Also, during the examination, the doctor will be able to notice if the lesion in the labia (lip) is due to possible infection and if antibiotics are needed.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
