What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pain In The Temple?

Hello, I ve been getting these weird on and off sharp pains in my left temple as of late. I m in college and applying for dental school, so I m really stressed as of lately. They didn t start until about a week into the semester. So about 3 weeks ago. Lately they have been occurring everyday. I feel it could be a pinched nerve. It doesn t hurt to touch and I don t feel dizzy or nauseous at all. Obviously reading things on the internet has made me concerned. I hope it s nothing serious. It doesn t affect me at all, it s just annoying and sometimes it hurts. What is this?

HI
Well come to HCM
Of course this is no the nerve pain, but could be tension headache, let me tell you that most of the headache are functional in origin and this best respond to analgesic, and most of the time does not need any treatment, try to come out of the stress, no need to worry about this, have a nice day.
