I have intermittent left upper abdominal pain that is so severe at times that I double over.... Had negative upper endoscopy and colonoscopy recently but still have the pain... What could be causing this pain? I am post breast cancer patient in 2013... With elevated liver enzymes since chemotherapy...is there any cause for concern?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
