What Causes Intermittent Pain In Throat Along With Blurred Vision?
Hi.I am 31 female former smoker(quit 3 years ago).Had a polyps removal surgery when 18 year ago. Since then I had on and of throath pain. Had a submadibular left side enlarged lymph node that was falsely diagnosed as salivary gland stone and later as an submandibular external jugular/internal carotid AVM. After ENT& MRI was told it was just a tooth abces that was recuring and making my lymph node angry, and that sometimes lynph nodes remain enlarged. Back to present,4 months away my vision became blurrier and blurrier needing new glasses a year from my last check.I have this constant dry caught of a sudden with no triggers(I was thinking maybe allergies). Also I have on and off that pain in my throath. Now I ve noticed right side of the back of my throat hurts when I eat with swalloing but not as mich when just swallowing saliva..So I googles tosnilitis and strep throat..came across a cancer suport website that said one tonsil larger than the other is almost always cancer and that tonsils should feel sof to touch not hard. I looked in my mouth and back of my tongue is white with build up and my right tonsil looks bigger and more elongated having like a tail down my throat. It is not very big in comparison but it is also it is hard to touch. Is this something that is normal during infection...? I will make an appt I just would like to hear the opinion of a proffesional in all of this. Thank you!

Hi from the history noted , i ll encourage you to see a doctor to have a look at your throat. tonsils may be enlarged with or without infection . it may be enlarged on both sides or may be one side it is better to check your blood test -cbc or FBC (complete blood cytology or full blood cytology 0 with differential count . for your eyes i ll like to advise you to see an Ophthalmologist (eye splecialist) to have a look into your eyes (anterior and posterior chambers )
