Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have intermittent back pain. Lower, about the base of my rib cage. very center of my back. It first started when I reached for my shoe 4 weeks ago. Then when lifting. It will sometime hurt when I bend forward part way. All the way to the ground no pain. sitting standing no pain. no numbness. If I step awkwardly it will be a very sharp pain that disappears in a few minutes. Do you think I can try home remedy s first. 95 percent of the time I have no issues. Thank you

What Causes Intermittent Back Pain And Numbness?
Hello, As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and ask for an MRI scan to rule out spine related problems. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
