What Causes Intermittent Abdominal Pain?

Have had intermittent colicky pain for two days, last night in bed it struck 7-8 times, with pain rising to 7-8 in degree, swiftly subsiding, flared up on turning over in bed, then localising to right lower quadrant, no flares since getting up, had small bowel movement which seems to have eased things, no nauseaor vomiting, not aware of a temp. Don t have an appendix. Should I go to hospital. Or wait and see, given its early Sat. morning?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having abodominal colic pain mostly due to constipation.
Take antispasmodic medicine like Meftal spas as and when required.
Take more fiber containing food.
Take plenty of water.
Take mild laxative to clear your bowel.
Ok and take care.
