What Causes Intense Tingling Sensation In The Fingers?

I have fairly intense tingling of fingers of both hands - when I hold my hands apart it feels like an intense magnetic field - elevating , lowering etc my hands does not change the magnetic field sensation and it continues at large didtances apart __ what is happening

A tingling in hands distal to the wrist could be due to various causes one being carpal tunnel syndrome although its not common to have both hands involved at the same time.Another possibility is peripheral neuropathy.
You should get a thyroid panel done along with a blood sugar examination.
If the reports are normal, and the symptoms persist then it would be better to test for nerve conduction velocity in both hands which would help in diagnosing neuropathy if thats the case.
