What Causes Intense Shoulder Pain Along With Tingling Sensation In Palms?
I am 4 weeks after doing some light snow shovelling and started with intense shoulder pain. The pain has reduced but I still have very limited arm power, and my palms and bottoms of my feet are semi numb ( tingling almost constantly. My hands are colder than normal. Have been seeing a phsio therapist who has been manipulating my spine T2 and T3, and mentiooned also T6 relating to the tingling. The pain and weakness is in shoulders - I have no pain in my back. Could there be something beyond the nerves in spine having been inflamed by the vertebrae?

Understanding your concern . As per your query you have intense shoulder pain along with tingling sensation in palms . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like abnormal levels of vitamin B12 or other vitamins, potassium, calcium, or sodium , poor blood supply to the affected area , herniated disk in your spine , pressure on your nerves diabetes or transient ischemic attack , cervical problem or stress . I would suggest you to put your hand in hot water tun with epsom salt for 15 minutes daily , drink plenty if water , eat healthy and do light exercise . If condition doesn't get well then consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination rule out any psychological problem and treatment . If your are experiencing dizziness , shortness of breath or weakness along with numbness and tingling in legs then your should go to emergency . Doctor may recommend physical therapy along with vitamin supplement . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for nervous problem .
