What Causes Intense Pain In Hip Radiating To The Foot?

I have intense pain from hip through foot. Heel is numb/tingling and outside of thigh is numb/tingling. this all on the left side. I ve iced, stretched, slept on floor, avoided couches/recliners and walked a lot. I had an MRI yesterday. My iliac crest feels like the wing part on the right is bulging out a bit at the pubis area on the left seems like it sticks out a bit. Nothing I do helps ease the pain. any ideas to ease or what you think issue is?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have intense pain in hip radiating to the foot . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sciatica , tendinitis , disc problem or peripheral neuropathy . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or physical examination by checking movement of leg . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory , vitamin supplement for quick recovery and for nerve health . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy and particular stretching exercises . Keep you leg in hot water tub with espom salt . For now take proper rest and apply warm compresses to back and leg . Also take pain killer prescribed by your doctor .
