What Causes Inner Knee Pain In Patients With A Previous History Of Knee Replacement?

Hi, in 2009 I had a total knee replacement. In the last 2 months or so the inside area of my knee is painful to the touch and is painful to try and raise the leg from a laying position to an upright position. I can even feel the pain of it when I go to bed. If it is in a bent position (i.e., driving) for any length of time, it is painful to get out of the car and initially very slow to walk. Not sure what is going on.
